Last updated: October 2026. This policy describes how BeautyClinic.ca handles personal information. BeautyClinic.ca is a directory and referral service operated in Canada.
What we collect
- Consultation requests: your name, mobile phone number, chosen treatment and city, and your consent to be contacted — only when you submit a request form.
- Clinic accounts: contact details a clinic provides when claiming or managing its profile.
- Basic usage data: standard server and analytics logs (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) used to operate and improve the directory.
How consultation requests are used
When you submit a request, we share your details with one matched clinic for the treatment and city you chose, so that clinic can contact you about your consultation. Your request is never sold to a list and never shared with multiple clinics at once. If the matched clinic does not respond within its acceptance window, the request may be passed to one backup clinic in the same city — again, one clinic at a time, under the same consent.
What we never do
- We never sell personal information to data brokers or marketing lists.
- We never collect medical records, health histories or payment details from patients — clinics handle those directly under their own policies.
- We do not use consultation-request details for advertising profiles.
Retention and your rights
Lead records are kept only as long as needed to deliver the request, resolve billing disputes with clinics, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and to correct or delete it, by contacting us through the site. Clinic listing information (names, addresses, published prices) is business information taken from clinics' own public websites.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
